The ultimate aim of ADFSR is to upgrade current facilities, policies and procedures in order to satisfy the criteria for APPLYING FOR CHARITY STATUS.
ADFSR would not be able to carry out its vital work without the support of the following groups of people:
* FELINE FOSTERERS, who take rescued cats & kittens into their care in order to keep them safe and prepare them for adoption
*ADOPTERS, who open their hearts and homes to rescued cats and kittens
* HOME-CHECKERS, who are ambassadors for ADFSR, visiting homes and making recommendations regarding adoption
* DONATORS - those kind and generous people who give money, time, food & litter, etc. to ensure the continuation of ADFSR
* SUPPORTERS - all those lovely people who support the work of Vanessa and ADFSR
THANK YOU
…… a word from Vanessa, herself :
" Since setting up the Rescue in 2017, I have re-homed over 150 felines and I spend all my time 24/7 caring for the cats and kittens in my care. ADFSR is the only Cat Rescue on Anglesey and I am now asking for help in order to cope with future demands.
Do you have a spare room & time to foster cats and kittens to prepare them for a forever home?
Are you able to contribute financially. The Rescue has a monthly SUPPORT SCHEME where you can pay a donation that suits your lifestyle.
I have lost count of the number of scratches BUT it is all worth it to see the cats and kittens going to their forever homes.
THANK YOU for your support and kind words."

5. All kittens/cats are treated for worms and fleas.
6. When adopting a kitten from ADFSR under 5 months old, you are agreeing that you are responsible for getting your cat neutered at the age of 5 months.
7. When kittens are born in ADFSR or foster care, we may post photos and updates of their journey. However, the kittens will NOT be up for reserving/adoption until at least 5 weeks old and will not leave their mother until at least 8 weeks.
8. Kittens that come into ADFSR at an early age will be cared for: bottle or syringed fed until they are on solids. Once, they are on solids and ADFSR is happy that they are using the litter tray, eating solids and drinking water, then they may go to their forever homes a little younger than 8 weeks.
9a. No viewing of kittens/cats until a HOME CHECK has been done. All prospective homes will need a home check, which will be conducted by one of ADFSR representatives, who volunteer their time.
9b. COVID-19 Due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19, we are unable to carry out home checks. Instead, a VERBAL VET REFERENCE is needed. You may need to contact your vet to release information.
If you are a first-time pet owner and not registered with a vet, then the Rescue Manager will look at MUTUAL FRIEND CONTACTS and will private message an individual. You will be informed of this but you may not know which mutual friend is being contacted.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING
